Dr. Ahmed M. Mohamed, Ph.D., M.Sc., MA , Religious Director

Dr. Ahmed M. Mohamed holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biology from Queen’s University in Canada, and an MA in Islamic Studies from the Islamic University of Minnesota. He also holds an Ijazah (traditional Islamic license) to transmit and teach Quran recitation, Tajweed, Aqeeda, Hadeeth, principles of Fiqh and principles Hadeeth.
Previously, Dr. Mohamed worked as a faculty member at Rutgers University, College of Staten Island and Raritan Valley Community College. He also acted as the Resident Director of Youth and Young Adults Islamic Studies at the Islamic Society of Central Jersey. Currently, Dr. Mohamed is the Religious Director at Al Falah Center in Bridgewater, NJ.

Dr. Mostafa Ghazy, Director of the Quran Academy / Imam of Salah

Dr. Mostafa is a distinguished graduate of Al-Azhar University, holding a Ph.D. in Quranic Studies with a focus on the interpretation of the Holy Quran, and a Master’s degree in Fundamentals of Fiqh. His expertise is further endorsed by his Ijaza in Hafs recitation and an honors certificate from the Egyptian Government (Awqaf) for his exemplary achievements in Imam training, leading Salah, and delivering impactful Khutbahs and lectures.

Recognized for his exceptional dedication, Dr. Mostafa has taught comprehensive courses in Quranic studies, Hadith, Fiqh, and Islamic history at the Ahmed Bin Hanbal Institute in Cairo. He has also developed engaging lesson plans, mentored students in their spiritual and academic growth, and organized workshops on contemporary Islamic issues.

Since 2012, Dr. Mostafa has been a beacon of knowledge and spirituality, leading Salah and delivering inspiring lectures in various Masajid across the United States. He founded the Jebreel Islamic Institute in Texas, where he developed the institute’s vision, mission, and strategic plan, and oversaw all operational aspects, including curriculum development and faculty recruitment.

Fahad Sheikh, Executive Director

Fahad holds an MBA in Finance from William Paterson University and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Rutgers University. With an extensive background in business management, financial oversight, and strategic planning, he has successfully managed large-scale operations, overseeing 200+ employees and multi-million-dollar budgets. His expertise in project management, process improvement, and community engagement will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of Al Falah Center.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Fahad has been an active member of the Muslim community for many years. His experience as a teacher at the Muslim Community Center of Union County (MCCUC) and his longstanding volunteer work with Al Falah Center have given him a deep understanding of our mission and values. Additionally, as the youngest EMS Chief in New Jersey, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in high-pressure environments, a skill that will greatly benefit our operations, safety planning, and crisis management efforts.
In his role as Executive Director, Fahad will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Al Falah Center, strengthening community outreach and interfaith relations, and leading fundraising efforts to ensure the continued growth and success of our center.

Shamsuddin Jamalyar, Masjid Caretaker

Brother Shamsuddin is the heart of Al Falah Center’s daily operations. He keeps our masjid clean, organized, and welcoming for everyone. From preparing prayer areas to maintaining classrooms and event spaces, his work ensures the center runs smoothly every day. His dedication, attention to detail, and humble service reflect true commitment to the community and to serving Allah’s house.
